When is the last time you “proclaimed” something? “I proclaim that dinner is done!” “I proclaim that I am going to work!” We do not use this word. Well, then why is this a word used to proclaim someone is married? A wedding ceremony does not have to use outdated vernacular, it doesn’t have to put people to sleep and it does not have to use one set blanket script for each couple.

We take a different approach. We have a broader perspective. Some couples have an incredible sense of humor, some want to have words that tell their story, some would like something traditional but personalized. Whatever you envision, let us be the thinkers and writers to find words that people ACTUALLY use. Words that will make you laugh, make you cry; words that people will want to listen to mostly… words that will get you MARRIED!
